I have not been feeling very motivated to blog lately. There have been thousands of things constantly running in my mind but still, there were nothing to share. I have also been busy using handcreams and fixing my socks because they keep getting twisted to a side and it is extremely annoying.

On a positive note, I am heading to Prague tomorrow & I am pretty excited about it, trying to put down a shopping list.. which seems rather impracticable than impossible because for some reason I have not (yet) become a billionare.

However, I have made many plans during past weeks & I am dying to tell you about them even throught I know I can´t before every little detail is fixed. (I have also been using the word ´however´ way too much not to mention it.)

.. and did I mention I got a blue sparkly deer for Christmas?

Heading to Prague for Slavia-Pardubice today, then probably watching World Juniors Championship marathon & I am not sure whether I would not forget to post this.

It is not only the Czech republic that lost a hero who was foughting against the Soviet regime. The whole world should stop and think of what freedom means to us and that not everything we are used to take for granted was always the way it is now. If anyone looked down to a death of a former president the way some people look down to Havel now, they would get arrested. Or shot. No matter how inhuman it may sounds but sometimes I really feel like we all should walk throught the path of absolutism and experience what the past generations were facing for lifetimes.

When times get tough, the tough get going

I have been so freaking busy these days. I do not have time for anything, blogging included. Today is seriously the very first day I have got a little time for myself since I am back at school (Dec 5).

There are actually a few reasons why I am writing this post, the first one is the fact the Pardubice are playing their European Trophy quaterfinal game tomorrow and I am not going to Salzburg (I have absolutely missed this one out.) Oh and this reminds me that I should make my hockey blog go online already, it has been waiting to be published for ages & I think the European Trophy would be a great kick off.

I went to Prague on Sunday and the main reason will be posted in an upcoming post, now it is only time to wonder.. aka I definitely did not expect myself to run into a zamboni in the centre of the capital.

Oh, and - guess who got her tweet published in The Calgary Journal? :))

Whoever read the last post probably understands that I'm pretty excited to be putting number twelve in the month-column during following weeks. The fact it's the first of December means a little bit more for me this year because it marks:

* 3 days until I'm (finally!) allowed to leave the house.. at least I hope so

* 5 days until my rehab starts

* 10 days until a trip to Prague

* 23 days until two anniversaries.. I'm not happy to 'celebrate' any of them this year, seriously, life's changed the main meaning of the holy day in past two years so much... but it's also 23 days until all the presents, carols, decorating the tree and Christmas sweets which I'm definitely looking forward to :)

* 30 days until the 2012.. this year has flown by so fast, I need to get from December the best I can!

Winter wondering

When the first candle of our family advent wreath (which is actually a plate with 4 candles without any more decorations for now) were burning yesterday, I realised how damn fast are we getting to the last holidays season of the year and how quickly is this year passing by. Only one month left, who would have believed that?!

Winter is my favourite season because of snow, low temperature, hoodies, wool, sarapes, scarves, warm clothes, loads of tea, hot chocolate, snow obviously, cold chilly weather, perfect weather to cuddle, candles, christmas decorations, feeding birds and swans, christmas songs and carols, the special kind of feeling in the air, more snow, pre-xmas trips abroad, happy people everywhere, holidays, shopping, presents, presents, presents! family gathering around and did I mention, SNOW? <3

PS: This is an awesome tumblr blog for all the winter-lovers over there.

I had to remove all the old posts, some of them will be re-publihed someday but not now. This is exactly the time when you want to delete the past and start a brand new life. My life has changed. I am quite nails now. Not that I will never cry anymore but I haven´t for a couple of weeks now and it feels fabulous. Now that I am home during my post-surgery time, I have got a lot of time to think about myself and also (and majorly) I can easily find out who is a real friend and who doesn´t care about me.

I am spending the days reading books, watching TV (The Amazing Race, you guys know how much I love the show!) and mainly sleeping because for some odd reason, I am sleepy 24/7. I got a cold too but it seems to be slowly fading away.

It is still the same old me but I have grown up. A lot.
